Parade Float 3xx
The engine is near complete. In one of the pictures belowe you can see the bell has been added.
The cab has had some painting done. Pictures of steam engines helped me decide to paint the control levers.
That is John Deere green on the dash. I wanted to add some color to try to break up the plain blacks and mint colors.
See what I mean about the silver black and gold of the control levers?
The bell is on and ready for Daniel or Grayson to ring!!
The tender is washed , painted and all the mechanical parts repaired for the Summer.
The interior color is Dinner Mint by Valspar Paint Company.
The cow catcher is put in position for traveling.
This is one of the ramp boards used when we load the engine onto the trailer. It needed to be stained and glued together.
