89 Ford Transmission Overheating
GSRM owns a 89 Ford 1 ton truck that we use to pull trailers. We found out the transmission overheating was caused by not routing the transmission cooling line through the main radiator, it used only the auxiliary radiator. It was decided that the main radiator would be replaced with a new one to reduce chances of problems in the future. Once that new radiator is installed all the transmission cooling lines will be hooked up to factory standards.
Great looking truck but a gas guzzler with a 460 cubic inch motor.
Radiator has been removed and waiting for the new one.
