Track Work #2
GSRM replaces ties and rail in lieu of rent for
storage of our equipment at the Chaska, MN
United Sugar Plant.

Saturday 05/06/06 - In this series of pictures we are
replacing ties near the front rail gate. This is the second
Saturday we have dedicated to this project.


05/06/06 - Lloyd greases the skid steer before or work session.




Now I can't say there was no cussing as he greased the machine.




We are so happy to be here.


All our tools neatly arranged, ok light up! Not me!


No ties, we need to shovel dirt to allow room for the new ties.


This tie has already been put in place, note there are no spikes!


Here we are one step closer, we have ballast put down.




Lloyd drives the spikes as Chuck nips the tie.


This tool really vibrates your body like a jack hammer.




Spike jump into the ties as the spike driver is turned on.


Sometimes we need to drive spikes by the old fashioned way.
