Paint CB&Q Caboose #1
The CB&Q caboose needs repainting, paint
must be scraped first. This caboose was built
in 1871. It is the oldest car in our organization.
Saturday 05/06/06 - Jim and Chuck scrape the old paint off.
05/06/06 - Paint chips are gathered as not to leave
a mess. The
paint that is currently on the caboose is latex, there is no hazard
from lead.
The windows of the caboose are in sad shape and may need
to be puttied as we have no time to replace them.
It was great to see Jim show up today.
