86 GMC Truckxxpage 1

In 2007 our parade crew will be traveling to towns in Minnesota, Wisconsin
and Iowa. Helping to get us there will be a 86 GMC Top kick 3 ton truck.
Sometimes it takes vision to know what needs to be done. Having a little
luck sure helps too. We found this truck in northern Wisconsin, it
has actual 41,000 miles on it. With pulling power enough to go long distances,
a crew cab and a low price tag we so far are satisfied this truck is our answer.


10/01/06 The interior is baked from the sun. The Jimmy (GMC) was an Air Force truck
and more than likely was station in the south. Bake dash and no rust = down south.


10/01/06 Motor has 41,000 miles on it. Almost looks new, though we will
have it checked over.

truck license.

10/21/06 Purchased a flat bed for the truck. Charlie the welder will need to
make some modifications to the bed to make it fit.
