Glencoe, MN Glencoe Days Parade 2008

Glencoe #1

Feels great to be back in Glencoe again this year!

We had a wonderful time in Glencoe as we have had so many times before! Friendly people and nice days are a trademark of a Glencoe appearance. Thank you Bob for taking so many great pictures.

Our steam engine broke down in Altoona about 3/4 of the way through the parade. A new fuel pump, an electronic ignition device and a fuel filter did the trick. All of these parts were installed Saturday night after returning home from Wisconsin. This thing is nearly new by now!

The crew for today was Grayson, Shirley, Randi, Daniel, Jake, Jim, Carol, Bob and Mike.

Our young members spend time together in the cab.

We wait for the beginning of the parade.

Daniel is waiting till the day he gets to drive.

After Chemo my hair came back curly & gray.

A close up of the last picture.

Spike wants to get going.

Oops he forgot to brush this morning.

Rail needs his teeth brushed too!

Shirley, Carol, Grayson and Jake ride the tender today.

Spike found a girl friend!

Of course Spike makes friends everywhere.

Glad to be in Glencoe, how you doing?

Keep waving you all!

Randi is very professional looking in his bibs!

Spike rests 1/2 way through the parade.

Randi and Spike are buddy's.

Getting a little hot to wear a hat Randi?
