The theme Homeward Bound represents GSRM's effort to construct our museum in New Prague, MN during 2008-2009. These efforts will be in many areas.
• Construction: Bids are being taken for the actual construction at our museum property. After the land is prepared members will restore railcars and move displays into place according to preexisting plans.
• Membership Promotion: Our members will be giving train rides and talking to the riders about GSRM. Single members and families flourish in our organization!
• Advertising: Parade appearances get our name in front of hundreds of thousands of people.

After all these years Gopher State Railway Museum will progress towards building its museum park even in a limited fashion. Financial hurdles have slowed our efforts in the past with this project but we keep inching our way towards the parks construction. We have saved enough money to pay for the construction planned for 2008-2009.

We are Homeward Bound, GSRM will become reality and it will be done in a very responsible way which will lead to a more stable museum.
